Personal Truth

By living our personal truth wholeheartedly, we inspire others to live their own personal truth as well.

Everyone deserves to live in peace, this is what allows us individually, and culturally the ability to live interesting and original lives. Life would be dense and boring if there was only one way to live. There are so many unique and original lifestyles in this world to keep us entertained, and the possibility of having an opened-mind allows others to live the life they joyfully desire. In my truth, there is no one truth, this allows the capability to accept/understand everyone for who they are, without judgement, or comparison, simply appreciate/acknowledge others personal truth.

Our minds are extraordinary. Ideas, experimenting, inspiration, creation, we individually have the ability to evolve by remembering the consequences of our actions. The creative process is full of trials and errors, we can remember our failures, which gives us the opportunity to focus on a potential solution, remember the solution, and transform.

Who taught the first artist? Who was the first teacher? Wouldn’t it be the inventor who taught themselves how through the process of trial and error? If someone had the ability to invent an instrument or device, is it not possible that an individual has the potential to develop their own truth with an instrument that was created by a fellow person? True passion, a desire, a love for whatever it is that feeds our soul, a reason that allows us to keep going in life, by whatever pace we feel comfortable traveling.

This seascape is the beginning of a series that I will continue to work on within 2018 aside from my piano work. My drive behind this is to portray peace, movement  and tranquility, expressing myself using only neutral/natural colored pigments and the different shades of blue within my pieces.

2017 was evolutionary for me and I am grateful for all of the lessons learned personally, and from others within this journey. I met amazing people in 2017 and I look forward to what the future may hold.

Best wishes to your 2018,

Edward
