OCHO - Boerne, TX

Here is my morning brew -

The OCHO Event was stellar. From the flow, esthetics, nature, concept, theme, food etc… were all on point; however, what made the event happen was we the people!

For many the solar eclipse was the highlight, but mine was OCHO and I hope more people get to experience this event! Naturally- we aren’t in this journey alone no matter how introverted we are. Like the infinite 8 we flow connected in more ways than one.

Located on a fragrance farm tucked away in the Texas Hill Country of Bourne, Texas - I found myself welcomed to the property, not only by the hosts, but by the land itself. Southern hospitality is real here on this side of the world, because I felt it the moment I went through the gates.

First presenter there, and first one out thanks to my circadian rhythm that kicked in since my bed time is 10 pm. Ha, not at OCHO, it was at 10 PM that I presented my art & music. Thankfully, some how the coffee I drank that morning had a second coming that night. But I could not let sleep interfere. My purpose was to connect, and even though my body wanted to shut down and I forgot what I was going to share, I pulled through.

Connection is what makes the world go round, it’s what gives us purpose, allows us to grow. Living for ourselves would be lonely; sharing & receiving is where the nectar of life is, and I’m happy that I was able to present a little snip of my journey with everyone there.

Maybe I’m speaking for myself some; but I know quite well that even though the piano and my art is therapeutic for me in creation and to keep my emotions in motion; sharing my experience with others is the most rewarding service. I wouldn’t be where I am today without connection. I have countless experiences of breaking points, answers to questions, aha moments… all through opening up to someone else.

We never know who we are going to inspire, assist, serve, lift, transform- vice versa. Some won’t open and express themselves in how they were moved; and that’s okay, that’s not necessary. What’s necessary is if the energy transfer was pure and genuine.

I was not only able to meet new people, but reacquainted with friends and familiar faces! It was a nice melting pot for a few others & I.

Thank you so much for allowing your property to be a beacon for everyone at this event. I know it’s a wild ride preparing for experiences like yesterday, but it’s all worth it!

To close this morning brew out- I can see OCHO becoming the next Woodstock; however, keeping a cap on it makes it what it is! Two thumbs up on the focus of intimacy.

Maybe next time; I’ll bring a grand piano.

Dondi & Dan, you are bright light’s and I am grateful to have crossed paths with you.

Infinite blessings,

Edward Traví
