A black pen & ink wash small scale series- found by experimenting in Medellin; the last city I visited on my trip to Colombia; and the day after I met Podilla. I was sitting in my room within the Airbnb located on street Calle 7, and found one of my favorite medias "ink wash".

This seven piece collection is my first series of mixing etching & ink washing techniques. Inspired by my travels through the terrains of Medellin. A city located within the valley of a dense mountain range - given the nickname "The Land of Eternal Spring", because of the consistency of its cool climate. The only access to this city, is through a long tunnel cut through the  base of the mountain; or a climb up the mountainscape. An amazing way to end my travels to Colombia. 

To show appreciation for nature, each piece holds the moon & seven stars.
